Momoni fish recipe

Momoni is the local name for fermented fish in Ghana. Basically you can use any fish to make momon. The difference between momoni and koobi is that, momoni is fermented in air tight container with salt but koobi is not processed in that way.

Method for making momoni :
1. wash your fish and cut it into small pieces of your choice.
2. Put them into a plastic or glass container.
3. Add enough salt .
4. Cover it and leave it to ferment for 4 days.
5. Remove it from the container and dry it for 3 or 4 days.
